Why the Julian, of course.  In 532, there had yet to be a single Pope Gregory!  That year, the Julian calendar would have only been off by about three days--and that is no time at all among Mediterraneans.  They take that long for lunch.

And the Greek Orthodox Church still adheres to the Julian Calendar.  (Someone is keeping a grudge about the Fourth Crusade!)

		<description>So when you say January 13, is it Julian or Gregorian?  In  other words, did this happen 1488 years ago or 1487 years and 50 weeks ago?  Or did I do the calculation wrong?</description>
